Backup files in yomito are very flexible and compatible across app versions (from old to new).

How to Create a Manual Backup

1. Go to Settings -> Backup and Restore.
2. Select Create data backup and choose a folder on your phone to save the .json file.

Backup Details

What IS saved in a Backup?

• Reading History (which chapters have been read)
• Favorites (your comic collection)
• Favorite Categories (folders you've created)
• Bookmarks (page markers)
• App Settings (theme, reading mode, UI settings, etc.)

What is NOT saved in a Backup?

• Downloaded comic chapters. (You'll need to re-download comic images manually from the Downloads menu if switching phones).

How to Restore Data

Restoring data is easy. Simply go to Settings -> Backup and Restore, then tap Restore from backup and select the .json or .zip file you previously saved.

Stay Safe: Enable Auto Backup

We highly recommend enabling Auto Backup so you don't have to manually back up your data every day, keeping you safe from sudden data loss.

How to Enable Periodic Backup

1. Go to Settings -> Backup and Restore.
2. Scroll down and find the Periodic backups section.
3. Set the Backup frequency (e.g., once a day or every 3 days) and choose the storage folder. This way, your collection will always be safe!
